Finish On Demand Wins “Impossible” Award in Neographics Regional Printing Competition

Southern Pennsylvania Bindery Takes Home “They Said It Couldn’t Be Done” Best of Category Award at
Annual Graphic Arts Association Competition

May 17, 2010 - Lancaster, PA - Finish On Demand, Inc., a post-press finishing solutions provider specializing in digital printing and quick-turnaround applications, won a Best of Category Award at the Neographics 2010 Power of Print Competition. Competing against hundreds of entries from printing and graphics firms throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware, Finish On Demand received the “They Said It Couldn’t Be Done” award, which recognizes “unusual or unique production techniques”.

The winning entry, a perfect-bound book for the Orlando Performing Arts Center, required next-day turnaround of 500 pieces. The unusual format included a spine-to-face dimension too large for most perfect binding equipment. After quickly running a test project, Finish On Demand confirmed they could bind the books. They successfully met the tight schedule.

“This award represents the ‘can-do’ attitude of our company and our industry,” said Patty Traynor, Founder and President of Finish On Demand. “Whether it’s hitting an ‘impossible’ deadline or tackling a job others can’t or won’t, we do what it takes to make our customers successful.”
